Corporate Retirement Plan Solutions

One of the most common tools to create and grow wealth is to participate in a Corporate Retirement Plan (a “Plan”).  Businesses that offer Plans truly set themselves apart from their competitors in their commitment to their employees!  There are many different types of Plans, each with advantages and disadvantages which need to be reviewed and considered in finding the right Plan for your Business.  Whether your Business is considering to implement a new Plan or has an existing Plan, we are able to assist you to choose and design or to implement the best Plan for your needs.

Benefits to Employer and Employees for Installing a Corporate Retirement Plan

  • Income Tax savings for Owners and Employees for contributions made to Plan.
  • Tax deferred growth on Investments within the Plan.
  • Savings earmarked for retirement which are exempt from claims of participant’s creditors.
  • Valuable corporate benefit for attracting and retaining talented employees!
  • No matter the size of your business, there are many different Plan options to get started.

Benefits to Employer of Reviewing Existing Corporate Retirement Plan

  • Make sure Plan is compliant with existing Rules and Regulations.
  • Benchmark the Plan to ensure the fees are in line with other Plans of similar Plan Size, Employer Size and in same industry.
  • Review and/or implement Education Policy for the Plan to ensure employees understand the Benefits of the Plan so that participation is maximized!
  • Review and Educate Business Owners of their fiduciary responsibility for employee participants in the Plan regarding fees and investment options.

At Stephen A. Taylor Wealth Management, we can help guide you in the implementation and maintenance of your Plan to help you meet your legal duty to educate the participants on the Plan and Investment Options and to ensure the Plan’s cost structure is suitable and appropriate. If you do not currently have a Plan in place, your business may be ready to start!  Due to rules and regulations designed to benefit individuals participating in Plans, it is recommended that an analysis of existing Plans be done every two (2) years to ensure the fees, design and investment options are appropriate and competitive for Plans of similar sizes, industries and demographics.

Our Corporate Retirement Plan Solutions services are a stand-alone, separate service or may be integrated into our Wealth SCRIPT process we implement for our individual and family clients.  Depending on the needs and situation of the business, a fee may or may not be charged for the services offered.  Our initial consultations are always free of charge.
